With the development of Project FeNix, CGN is committed to improving the living standards of people living in surrounding communities, encouraging, assisting and supporting the sustainable development of the region. The success will be based on listening and maintaining dialogue with the neighbors of the project throughout all stages of the project.
Community development initiatives focus on improving the health, education, infrastructure and socio-economic, as well as environmental protection. We work to preserve the heritage and values of the indigenous population of the region.
Raxche’ Foundation is already working on projects to improve health and education of people in the communities surrounding the project. There have also been programs created for community development, economic planning, and so on. With community participation, the project may have a positive long term impact in the municipality of El Estor and surrounding communities.
